<-[[.:start]] ====== 4m FM ====== ** Low Band PMR and 4m Ham band ** ===== Background ===== The PMR radio system for the Shetland Islands Council (SIC) Roads dept. is being re-engineered (summer 2023) with new base station radios and a new IP based microwave link network. I thought I would set myself up with the ability to monitor, and test coverage, both mobile and at home. I found my old [[public:radio:radio_database:fm1100|FM1100]] and also was given a selection of other ones by SIC, as well as the PDP to program them. My plan is to configure the radios for //both// 4m ham band and SIC roads network. ===== Frequencies ===== === SIC Roads PMR === ^Site^Base TX ^Base RX^CTCSS^ |Bressay| 85.425 | 71.925 | 103.5 | |Weisdale | 85.350 | 71.850 | 103.5 | |Collafirth Hill | 85.225 | 71.725 | 103.5 | === 4m Amateur Band === * 12.5kHz spacing * 70.3000 * 70.3125 * 70.3250 * 70.3375 * 70.3500 * 70.3625 * 70.3750 * 70.3875 * 70.4000 * 70.4125 * 70.4250 * 70.4375 * 70.4500 = FM Calling Channel * 70.4625 * 70.4750 * 70.4875 === Business Radio Simple Light === * 5 channels * 77.6875 * 86.3375 * 86.3500 * 86.3625 * 86.3750 --- //John Pumford-Green 20/05/23 12:25// ===== Further Information ===== {{tag>fm1100 4m radio}}
