Firmware Upgrade process

Use TeraTerm and “blue USB Serial adaptor”

Set TerraTerm to 115200 8n1 and the appropriate COM port

Plug to Main unit COM port

  1. Hold SPACE and power-on G90
  2. Choose “1. Update F/W”
  3. After “Erase” select F/W file to send in TerraTerm via “File → Transfer → XMODEM → Send
    1. check the “1k” box
    2. Power off Radio after transfer completes
  4. Move to Front Panel COM port
  5. Hold SPACE and power-on G90 again
  6. repeat process to upgrade front panel
  7. Once complete depower radio.
  8. Wait 5 seconds (remove COM connection)
  9. Power on as normal

14/5/23 1.77b xiegu_g90_fw_v1.77b.zip back to best compromise version (so far)
