Kenwood TM-D710
Service Mode to adjust TX Powers
- To access Service Mode
- Make 6-pin data plug with pins 3 & 6 connected
- Plug into Data Socket on Main Unit
- Power up while holding Left 2 Function buttons
- To set powers, rotate main knob to find “HPWR V” etc.
- Note current settings of all 6 parameters
- HPWR V 216
- MPWR V 148
- LPWR V 137
- HPWR U 225
- MPWR U 106
- LPWR U 83
- Adjust each to achieve required power (Press PTT, Look at Power meter, rotate Main Knob with relevant figure selected…..)
- New settings (high power set to keep current below 10A)
- HPWR V 172 → 25W (current 6.5A)
- MPWR V 148 → 10W
- LPWR V 137 = 5W
- HPWR U 133 → 20W
- MPWR U 102 → 10W
- LPWR U 83 = 5W
- Power off
- Remove plug
- Power on
