Firmware Upgrade process
Use TeraTerm and “blue USB Serial adaptor”
Set TerraTerm to 115200 8n1 and the appropriate COM port
Plug to Main unit COM port
- Hold SPACE and power-on G90
- Choose “1. Update F/W”
- After “Erase” select F/W file to send in TerraTerm via “File → Transfer → XMODEM → Send
- check the “1k” box
- Power off Radio after transfer completes
- Move to Front Panel COM port
- Hold SPACE and power-on G90 again
- repeat process to upgrade front panel
- Once complete depower radio.
- Wait 5 seconds (remove COM connection)
- Power on as normal
